Junior Finance Professional

What you will do

• Support the day-to-day management of customer accounts, including reviewing outstanding invoices, payments, and follow-up items.
• Investigate payment differences, open items, and account-related questions.
• Communicate with customers and internal Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams to resolve outstanding topics.
• Maintain accurate financial and customer information and use Excel and financial systems to analyze data and track actions.
• Support financial reporting and analysis while identifying recurring issues and process improvement opportunities.
• Gradually take on more ownership and responsibility as experience develops.

Requirements

• MBO or HBO working and thinking level, preferably with a background in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to approximately 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Interest in Finance and working with numbers and data.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Some experience with Excel gained through studies, an internship, or previous work.
• Hands-on mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Comfort working with different stakeholders and communicating with customers.
• Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and professional proficiency in English.
• Can-do mentality, accuracy, customer focus, and ability to work as a team player.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French.
