Site Manager (THG Omega) - THG Manufacturing

Location: hirify.global Omega, Skyline Dr, Burtonwood, Warrington, WA5 3TP, UK. Onsite role operating across a 24/5 shift pattern.

What you will do

• Lead all site operations across powder blending and multi-format packaging for a 150–250 employee manufacturing operation.
• Own performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, people metrics, output, efficiency, labour utilisation, and OTIF.
• Coordinate production, warehouse, engineering, Technical, HSE, and central functions to deliver production plans and service requirements.
• Lead health, safety, GMP, food supplement compliance, audit readiness, quality improvement, RCA, CAPA, waste reduction, and right-first-time initiatives.
• Develop Production, Warehouse, and Engineering Managers while building leadership capability, succession, accountability, and engagement.
• Progress automation, preventative maintenance, asset care, capital investment, OEE, process standardisation, and cost-saving initiatives, reporting performance and risks to the Production Director.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a manufacturing leadership role within a large, complex site.
• Strong background in regulated manufacturing, including GMP, BRCGS, or a similar standard.
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and deliver performance at scale.
• Experience driving operational improvements in stable, high-output environments.
• Strong leadership presence and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in powder processing, blending, or high-volume packaging environments.
• Exposure to automation projects and capital investment programmes.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related degree.
