Shift Trader

Location: Singapore, London, or Dubai. The role requires working shifts to support 24/7 coverage across regions, including weekend or holiday markets.

Building a Central Trading & Monitoring team for around-the-clock supervision of trading activities and operational processes.

What you will do

• Monitor real-time trading exposures, profit and loss, risk metrics, alerts, and risk-limit breaches, escalating incidents and executing hedging actions according to established procedures.
• Oversee systematic trading strategies in production, restart them when needed, and support issue escalation and resolution.
• Perform ad-hoc hedging, booking, lifecycle-management, and operational tasks, including position rolls, option expirations, and corporate actions.
• Monitor market-making activities, support post-execution analysis and best execution, and serve as a contact point for market counterparties.
• Support pilots, special initiatives, new products such as power and gas markets, and near round-the-clock trading coverage.
• Streamline monitoring and booking workflows through scripting and automation while working with stakeholders to identify requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field.
• Programming proficiency in Python.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teammates globally.
• A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
