General Manager (Hospitality)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States. On-site; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

What you will do

• Oversee property operations, guest satisfaction, profitability, efficiency, and compliance with company policies, quality standards, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop strategies to optimize revenue, occupancy, and distribution across channels in collaboration with the Distribution Manager and Revenue Management team.
• Lead, mentor, and develop hospitality professionals while fostering excellence, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver personalized guest experiences and build engagement and loyalty in collaboration with Assistant Managers.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, expense control, performance analysis, and solutions to improve financial and operational results.
• Oversee property maintenance and facilities, and maintain relationships with owners, corporate housing providers, and local community partners.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of hospitality management experience, with a proven record leading properties with multiple asset classes such as hotels, food and beverage, and retail.
• Expertise in revenue management, distribution, and financial management, with strong business acumen.
• Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, including the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with guests, colleagues, and partners.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data and insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with property management systems and revenue management software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
