Rust Developer Advocate

Location: Remote worldwide; outside Austin, TX, team members are typically hired as independent contractors.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year plus profit share.

What you will do

• Design and implement a developer-focused strategy to grow hirify.global’s presence in the Rust community.
• Create educational content in formats such as blog posts and videos.
• Build example projects, maintain the Rust SDK, and improve product documentation.
• Review customer interactions and issues to understand product and user needs.
• Explore sponsorships, partnerships, and no-code or low-code integrations.
• Engage with potential users and attend or speak at meetups, conferences, and hackathons.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Rust.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with developer relations.
• Experience with digital marketing.
