Salesforce Developer (Certinia PSA)

Location: Worldwide; remote work.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, triggers, batch processing, and asynchronous jobs.
• Support and enhance Certinia PSA processes covering projects, assignments, schedules, timecards, milestones, staffing, and billing.
• Investigate complex issues in mature Salesforce orgs with legacy code and multiple interacting automation layers, proposing sustainable solutions.
• Design and maintain automations using Apex, Flow, Custom Metadata, and declarative tools while keeping business rules configurable.
• Develop and execute realistic sandbox-based test scenarios, support deployments and change management, and troubleshoot production and external-system integrations.
• Gather and clarify requirements with technical and non-technical clients, assess feasibility and dependencies, estimate work, document decisions, and explain risks and limitations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Developer experience in complex production environments.
• Strong Apex experience, including classes, triggers, batch processing, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, declarative automation, Salesforce architecture, object model, security, and permissions.
• Experience working with large or mature Salesforce orgs containing legacy code and multiple interacting automation mechanisms, with the ability to analyze existing code and business logic before making changes.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs, sandbox-based development and testing, and production deployments.
• Ability to independently investigate technically complex issues and troubleshoot production and integration problems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
• Ability to gather requirements, estimate work, and explain technical limitations or risks.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Certinia PSA, formerly FinancialForce PSA, including projects, assignments, schedules, resources, timecards, milestones, staffing, and billing.
• Experience developing custom functionality around Certinia managed-package objects and APIs, and troubleshooting Certinia-specific permissions, validations, and automation.
• Exposure to Certinia Accounting/FFA, GL/AR/AP, Revenue Recognition, ERP Core, Reporting, Banking/Bank Feeds, and VAT/tax functionality.
• Experience with finance-related Salesforce processes, financial or banking integrations, Boomi or similar middleware, and SFTP-based integrations.
• Familiarity with ISO 20022 and payment-processing integrations.
• Experience with Aura components and migration from Aura to Lightning Web Components.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or Platform App Builder.
