Airbus Fleet Engineer (Avionic Systems)

What you will do

• Review Airbus Airworthiness Directives and mandatory Service Bulletins to assess, decide, and implement required fleet modifications.
• Maintain continuing airworthiness and aircraft safety in compliance with applicable CAR-AIR-OPS, CAR M, and CAR 145 requirements.
• Work with OEMs, MROs, and internal departments to improve fleet reliability and on-time performance while reducing costs.
• Create modification business cases and support decision-making through the Modification Review Committee.
• Compile Engineering Orders, Special Checks, and Additional Engineering Requirements for modifications, aircraft status assessments, reliability, and safety issues.
• Support technical projects, review TFU/FAIR records, issue related advisories, promote safety reporting, and support the Lead Engineer in Fleet Management functions.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications meeting eligibility requirements for membership as a chartered engineer, such as a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or electrical/electronics engineering.
• Three years of CAMO experience as a Fleet Engineer or Technical Services Engineer, or five years of job-related experience in technical commercial aviation or airline engineering.
• Experience performing work in accordance with internal processes and procedures.

Nice to have

• Aircraft B1/B2 type training on an A320, A350, or A380 fleet.
• Experience with AMOS MIS.
