Business Continuity Spec Sr

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; in-office role.

What you will do

• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans and oversee testing, emergency response, and recovery activities.
• Lead business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning, and disaster-preparedness planning.
• Provide support and expertise during live events and select operating strategies for business continuation within recovery time objectives.
• Conduct business continuity lifecycle planning and business impact analyses, identifying and quantifying the effects of disruptions and disaster scenarios.
• Prepare reporting for line-of-business committees and executives on process compliance, readiness, events, and exercise results; partner with audit and government regulators when needed.
• Develop and enhance continuity processes, standards, and initiatives, and support business continuity training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree. A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered instead.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Knowledge and skills in contingency and disaster recovery, crisis management, decision-making and critical thinking, effective communication, flexibility and adaptability, industry knowledge, tactical and strategic planning, and requirements analysis.
• Customer-focused decision-making and the ability to create solutions aligned with customer needs and satisfaction.
• Ability to assess and manage risks in accordance with hirify.global's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Nice to have

• Auditing operations, competitive advantages, crisis management, disaster recovery planning, process design, and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant professional certifications are desired but not required.
