Spec Enterprise Resiliency (Business Continuity)

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. The role operates in a professional office environment and may require office work if the home workspace or internet connection is inadequate.

Base salary: $96,100.00–$135,700.00 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert in business continuity and disaster recovery, advising management and functional teams on disruption planning and preparation.
• Coordinate annual maintenance, exercises, independent reviews, and validation for business continuity and technical recovery documentation.
• Oversee operational business impact analyses, business continuity plans, technical recovery plans, and incident response plans.
• Recommend recovery strategies and assist with implementing recovery solutions across business lines, systems, and teams.
• Use the Business Continuity Management System to integrate planning, assessments, recovery procedures, and related data.
• Develop stakeholder training, maintain emergency notification systems, provide reporting and administrative support, and manage ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business continuity within financial services or related fields.
• Strong business continuity and financial-services background, analytical, organizational, decision-making, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with business partners in remote locations and manage tasks and resources to achieve deliverables.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to provide after-hours or on-call support as required.
• Active Business Continuity certification, such as ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, CBCI, MBCI, ARM, or CRM, or ability to obtain one within the first year of employment.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of DRII, COBIT, NIST, ITIL, and ISO 22301 best-practice frameworks.
• Experience with business continuity management systems such as BC in the Cloud or Fusion.
