Associate (Alternative Funds)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work model

What you will do

• Prepare timely and accurate net asset values for alternative funds.
• Process hedge fund trades, pricing, corporate actions, accounting transactions, and journals.
• Reconcile cash and holdings between core accounting systems and prime brokers, custodians, and asset managers.
• Resolve trade discrepancies and communicate with clients, management, custodians, prime brokers, and asset managers.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including control reports, and assist with financial statements, audit schedules, compliance reports, and tax allocations.
• Support client projects, testing, transitions, process improvements, workflow or system enhancements, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with exposure to accounting, investment, finance, or other analytical coursework, plus 2 years of working experience.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• PC skills, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and resourcefully on assigned work.
