Senior Associate, Fund Accountant (Real Estate)

What you will do

• Provide fund accounting services, including NAV preparation, accrual booking, asset valuation, and cash and portfolio reconciliations.
• Prepare capital call, distribution, allocation, management fee, and waterfall calculations in accordance with fund documents.
• Prepare investor allocations for each NAV cycle and ensure capital transactions and P&L are allocated correctly.
• Prepare NAV packages, service-level-agreement deliverables, and other ad hoc requests and projects.
• Communicate with internal teams and external clients to meet deliverables and requests.
• Prepare or assist with audited financial statements, audit support, and applicable regulatory services.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, qualified accountant status, or another relevant qualification.
• At least 4 years of progressive accounting, audit, or fund administration experience in real estate or property accounting.
• Strong accounting knowledge, especially in consolidation profit or loss and balance sheets.
• Strong computer skills and willingness to adopt new technologies for efficient solutions, with particular proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with accounting software, particularly Yardi.
