Direct project engineering or technical lead experience managing design tasks.
Experience performing finite element analysis and designing maritime systems and hardware.
Experience designing robotic systems and hardware.
Ability to follow mechanical programs from inception through system integration and lead design teams of up to six engineers or designers.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machining processes, stage-gate and design-cycle processes, and welding standards and practices.
Experience processing engineering changes to documentation on DoD programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Must support both the Devens and Franklin facilities and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance if required.
Nice to have
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with ANSYS Fluent and CFX.
Ability to develop analytical models for forced and free convection systems in Excel or MathCAD.
