Senior Mechanical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: San Carlos, CA, United States; on-site

Base pay: $150,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Deliver the next generation of robotic systems with the mechanical engineering team.
• Design and manage mechanical components through concept, fabrication, testing, and production.
• Collaborate with industrial design, electrical engineering, product, and software teams on system-level design decisions.
• Identify and resolve issues in current robot systems while considering engineering effort and budget.
• Build rapid prototypes and design and execute test plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience and a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and PDM.
• Experience with user-facing product design and robotic or mechatronic systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively across functions and work independently.
• Experience working with and managing vendors.
• Ability to work on-site in San Carlos, California.
