Application Platform Team Lead (Mobile)

What you will do

• Lead a team of engineers and foster a high-performance, innovative, collaborative, creative, and courageous engineering culture.
• Define and evolve platform architecture supporting shared code, cross-team reuse, developer velocity, native modules, bridging, and cross-platform patterns.
• Build and operate shared code, SDKs, templates, and platform services for multiple product streams.
• Make technical tradeoffs between long-term maintainability and short-term business needs.
• Remain hands-on by designing and implementing core platform components and leading backend and frontend development as needed.
• Research and implement solutions for performance, security, and reliability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Team Lead, including people leadership and delivery ownership.
• 5+ years of experience building mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
• Strong practical experience with mobile CI/CD for iOS and Android, including build automation, signing, and rollouts or canaries.
• Proven experience building SDKs, libraries, or developer tooling consumed by multiple product teams.
• Experience using AI tools within the software development lifecycle, including reviewing, validating, and improving AI-generated code.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align technical strategy with product needs and explain tradeoffs to cross-functional partners.
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
