Squad Lead (Engineering Manager)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland, with 2 days per week in the office. Candidates must be eligible to work and live in Poland.

What you will do

• Partner with Product Leadership to define product vision and roadmap, connecting engineering feasibility with business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional team of approximately 20 engineers and specialists.
• Drive operational excellence, engineering velocity, and delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives.
• Provide technical direction and challenge architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable B2B SaaS solutions.
• Coordinate priorities and delivery across engineering, product, and design.
• Oversee product quality and performance, manage technical debt, and develop senior engineering talent.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant leadership experience managing large or multiple teams; experience leading groups of 15+ is highly valued.
• Proven experience building complex B2B SaaS enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of modern web application development and cloud platforms; experience with .NET Core, React, and Azure is an advantage.
• Demonstrated success in a dual-leadership setup combining Product and Tech responsibilities and translating business requirements into technical strategy.
• Proven track record of building solutions and delivering strategic success rather than only maintaining legacy systems.
• Excellent English communication skills at C1/C2 level, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-driven and able to work as a team player.
• Knowledge of effective collaboration in international and multicultural environments within a fast-growing company.
