Engineering Manager (POS Systems)

Location: Hybrid office in Belarus or remote B2B work in Poland; cities mentioned are Minsk and Warsaw.

What you will do

• Lead and develop an engineering team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Drive engineering processes, including agentic development practices.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for scalable distributed systems and complex platform architectures.
• Scale the engineering organization and build career frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, go-to-market teams, and executive leadership.
• Help build intuitive POS products that solve operational challenges for independent retailers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical leadership and people management experience in a SaaS business.
• Software engineering background with experience delivering large-scale distributed systems or complex platform architectures.
• Experience scaling engineering organizations and developing career frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including presentations to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good command of English at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience building Point-of-Sale systems.
• Russian language skills.
