Senior DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Build secure, automated self-service pathways that accelerate development while maintaining organizational standards.
• Design Kubernetes-native abstractions, including controllers and operators, and decouple infrastructure into independent service lifecycles.
• Manage infrastructure, policies, and configuration through a versioned, reviewed, tested, and CI-gated software development lifecycle.
• Own production reliability through observability, clear SLOs, operational hygiene, accurate alerting, and blameless postmortems.

Requirements

• Strong production-scale GCP experience, including GKE, IAM, networking, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
• Kubernetes-native and declarative-first mindset, with experience or comfort working with controllers and operators, self-service platforms, and separation of concerns.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and tools including Terraform, Helm, and GitOps such as ArgoCD or similar; KCC is optional.
• Software engineering experience or proven strong development ability in Go and/or Python, including production code development rather than only glue scripts.
• Security-aware engineering practices covering least-privilege IAM, secret hygiene, policy gates, and software supply-chain gates.
• Production-first approach to reliability, observability, recoverability, and ownership of shipped systems.

Nice to have

• Policy as code with OPA/Conftest or Kyverno and supply-chain or CI security tooling.
• SLO and error-budget practices and DORA-based delivery measurement.
• Multicloud experience with AWS or Azure.
• Big Data or MLOps exposure, including Airflow, Dagster, Ray, or Kubeflow.
• Experience or perspective on AI-assisted and spec-driven development.
