AI Systems Engineer

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; office-first culture with three days a week in the office for most roles.

Annual base pay range: $81,150–$108,200 USD for candidates based in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington. The role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and commissions.

What you will do

• Administer Glean, Claude, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and related AI platforms across sandbox, development, QA, and production environments.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor native connectors, MCP access, indexing and crawling, authentication, integration performance, and connector health.
• Provide first-line support for chat, agent, connector, indexing, authentication, and permission issues; diagnose, resolve, and escalate issues according to established procedures.
• Support testing, UAT, deployment validation, release readiness, post-release support, and AI incident triage, including root-cause analysis.
• Monitor usage, consumption, credit utilization, platform health, and operational resources; assist with approved cleanup of redundant or abandoned configurations.
• Maintain configuration records, inventories, runbooks, issue registers, deployment evidence, and compliance documentation; support onboarding, training, office hours, and troubleshooting guidance.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in technical operations, platform administration, systems integration, automation, AI technologies, SaaS administration, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience supporting or administering an enterprise AI, automation, integration, or SaaS platform.
• Foundational knowledge of APIs, OAuth, service accounts, webhooks, connectors, authentication, and permissions.
• Experience supporting production technology environments and assisting with changes across development, test, and production environments.
• Troubleshooting skills, including impact assessment, status communication, information gathering for root-cause analysis, issue resolution using established procedures, and appropriate escalation.
• Ability to monitor platform health, integration performance, usage and consumption, authentication expiry, and cost or credit trends.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks, prioritize competing demands, exercise sound judgment within established standards, and escalate operational risks.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, including support for technical and non-technical stakeholders; commitment to secure, governed, supportable operations and compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Glean, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, or Power Platform.
• Experience creating integrations with Jira, Salesforce, Workday, Ironclad, Snowflake, GitLab, Highspot, or similar enterprise systems.
• Understanding of prompt design, orchestration patterns, and AI solution behavior across agentic and automation use cases.
• Experience with AI architecture, MCP tethering, A2A automations, and/or AI testing protocols.
• Hands-on experience building complex agentic AI solutions or automations.
