Incident Response Senior Consultant (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead reactive and proactive incident response engagements across the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
• Perform advanced host and network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Advise organizations responding to threat actor activity and develop incident response recommendations.
• Prepare written and verbal reports, presentations, findings, and recommendations for customer management.
• Present technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking events.

Requirements

• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations for organizations, including investigations of targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, organized crime, and hacktivists.
• Background using varied forensic analysis tools to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and network analysis tools, with the ability to analyze associated network logs.
• Deep understanding of targeted attacks and the ability to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence, adversary attribution, and its application to incident response.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write and present technical content to senior executives.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress, high-pressure situations and collaborate across the APJ region.
• Ability to support, manage, and mentor less experienced team members.

Nice to have

• GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or a similar certification.
