Senior Investigator, Cyber Security

Location: Remote, United States; Orlando, Florida office location. External candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview at a company location.

Salary: USD 130,000–155,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and support investigations into cyber incidents, insider-risk alerts, data misuse, unauthorized disclosure, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Triage alerts, scope affected users, systems, data, and business processes, and prioritize cases according to risk and impact.
• Correlate endpoint, network, identity, cloud, email, and user-behavior evidence to assess compromise, policy violations, or intentional misuse.
• Investigate data exfiltration, unauthorized access, abnormal file movement, privileged-user activity, employee departures, role changes, and other high-risk scenarios.
• Maintain case timelines, evidence records, findings, risk assessments, chain of custody, and mitigation decisions through case closure.
• Coordinate containment, access changes, monitoring, clean-device workflows, employee actions, and other mitigations with Cyber Security, Legal, HR, Compliance, IT, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in incident response, security operations, cyber investigations, threat intelligence, insider-risk investigations, or sensitive security matters, including work involving APT groups.
• Hands-on familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, DLP, case management, identity, endpoint, cloud, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience briefing technical and non-technical stakeholders, including security leadership, Legal, HR, Compliance, and executive audiences.
• Background in operations security, information security, personnel security, physical security, intelligence, compliance, or security program management.
• Strong written documentation, evidence handling, judgment, discretion, collaboration, and time-management skills.
