Supply Chain Specialist (12 months' contract)

Location: Singapore; hybrid working with the option to work from home up to two days per week. This is a 12-month contract, and no relocation support is provided.

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end shipment visibility across the APAC transportation network by monitoring milestones and identifying operational and customer risks.
• Work with carriers, freight forwarders, logistics providers, distribution centers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to investigate delays, resolve exceptions, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide shipment updates, risk assessments, mitigation actions, and analytical insights to supply chain, customer service, planning, and commercial teams.
• Analyze transportation exceptions, service failures, freight spend, cost per shipment, lead times, delivery accuracy, and service reliability.
• Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly transportation performance reports and provide weekly shipment volume forecasts to freight forwarders.
• Support carrier reviews, SLA monitoring, transportation tenders, network optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain analytics.
• Experience in APAC transportation operations, ocean freight, and carrier management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Understanding of freight management and logistics KPIs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or Data Analytics.
