Senior Operations Business Systems Analyst (ERP)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin, United States; onsite role supporting Cancer Diagnostics operations. Requires 5% travel, potentially including overnight and weekend travel.

Base pay: $78,000–$156,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead complex ERP initiatives and critical workstreams with broad scope and minimal oversight.
• Gather and document business requirements, translate them into standards-aligned designs, and propose improvements.
• Lead analysis, design, testing, deployment, issue resolution, UAT, post-go-live stabilization, and corrective-action activities.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide triage and escalation guidance.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT Application Analysts, Operations Analytics, leaders, and external vendors.
• Lead change management, develop SOPs and advanced training materials, and deliver end-user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the essential duties, or an Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience as a business analyst designing and supporting processes in SAP, Oracle, or another ERP system.
• Experience working as an analyst in an operations, supply chain, and/or manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading system enhancement or implementation projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States, where the work will be performed; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.
• Ability to work with a mobile device, tablet, or computer screen and perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
• Experience with SAP IBP, PP/DS, Digital Manufacturing, or other advanced supply chain management solutions.
• Experience in biotech or life sciences manufacturing, preferably in cGMP, ISO 13485, and/or CLIA environments.
• Experience with Computer Systems Validation processes or equivalent application-system change-control practices.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience using SAP Fiori apps as a business user or analyst.
