IT Enterprise Architect

Location: On-site in Coralville, Iowa, United States or Fargo, North Dakota, United States; travel up to 25% required.

What you will do

• Define and evolve enterprise architecture vision, principles, target-state roadmaps, and capability-based transformation plans.
• Provide architecture leadership across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, security, cloud, and AI platforms.
• Advise executive stakeholders on technology investments, modernization options, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations.
• Lead architecture governance through review boards, decision records, standards, reference architectures, and exceptions.
• Support major programs and platform decisions while improving interoperability, operability, and technical debt.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or platform strategy within complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to create and govern standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional architectural decisions.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for stakeholder engagement and site or program support.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and modeling, including TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML, capability modeling, and process modeling.
• Experience with large-scale modernization and cloud transformation programs, regulated industries, and security, privacy, and compliance controls.
• Experience integrating ERP and CRM platforms, digital channels, and data and analytics ecosystems.
