Enterprise Architect (AI)

Location: Remote - Nebraska; hybrid work option for associates living within 30 miles of an office location, with in-office presence three days per week. Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Annual compensation: $160,000-$177,796 depending on experience.

What you will do

• Define and evolve technical vision, architecture strategy, and roadmaps for major initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Lead engineering and architecture direction for large-scale projects as a hands-on individual contributor and document high-impact technical decisions.
• Design secure, resilient, scalable, and integrated solutions across infrastructure, applications, data, networking, and cloud platforms.
• Translate business, client, and product requirements into architecture options, technical specifications, and implementation guidance.
• Establish architecture standards and patterns for the responsible integration of AI capabilities across NCC products.
• Guide complex integrations and solution rollouts while providing technical mentorship and influencing outcomes without formal authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of related experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure architecture, systems architecture, software engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience defining technical vision, strategy, and roadmaps for complex, cross-functional, or enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Deep experience designing and integrating secure, scalable solutions across infrastructure, applications, data, networking, and cloud environments.
• Experience influencing technical and business decisions with executives, product, sales, engineering, and client-facing stakeholders.
• Experience operating autonomously on advanced, ambiguous, and high-risk technical challenges without formal people-management authority.
• Enterprise architecture and system implementation or integration skills.
• Strategic thinking, strategic planning and execution, influence without authority, and stakeholder management.
• Communication, storytelling, presentation, cloud platforms, data fluency, cybersecurity, and technical writing and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or relevant enterprise architecture, cloud, infrastructure, security, or technology certification.
• Experience leading architecture and engineering direction for a major transformation, platform modernization, or multi-year strategic program.
