Senior Manager, Procurement Indirect Commodity (Healthcare)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; up to 10% travel. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year, plus performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and implement indirect commodity strategies aligned with procurement and business goals.
• Manage sourcing activities, RFPs/RFIs, negotiations, contracts, and business contingency plans.
• Drive cost reductions through negotiation, value engineering, and alternative sourcing strategies.
• Perform financial analysis and modeling while maintaining, renegotiating, and managing supplier agreements.
• Improve contract performance, identification, and compliance through internal education, communication processes, and supporting tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to optimize supplier selection, performance, project execution, and negotiations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of procurement experience in commodity management or strategic sourcing within healthcare services or a SaaS organization in the healthcare division.
• Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies.
• Experience in supplier management and negotiations.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external resources.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and quality standards.

Nice to have

• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization and time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business plus experience in category management, or a high school diploma with 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
