Team Lead, IT Infrastructure & Support

Location: Remote; work from anywhere in the world. Offices are located in different countries.

What you will do

• Ensure the availability of internal services according to agreed SLAs, manage incidents and post-mortems, and address recurring root causes.
• Oversee user support, including onboarding, access rights, and Tier 2 and Tier 3 tickets; provide direct support when required.
• Maintain the infrastructure improvement roadmap, prepare business cases, implement approved solutions, and automate routine tasks.
• Manage three engineers, on-call schedules, 1:1 meetings, goals, feedback, hiring, interviews, and onboarding.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, knowledge bases, and cross-functional knowledge sharing.
• Manage changes, maintenance windows, rollbacks, backups, disaster recovery, information security requirements, vendors, licenses, and expenses.

Requirements

• 2+ years of team leadership managing 3+ engineers in a management capacity, plus 5+ years in IT infrastructure or system administration.
• Expert-level Microsoft Active Directory experience, including GPO, replication, DNS integration, permissions, auditing, and troubleshooting.
• Practical networking expertise with DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and VPN, including debugging issues rather than only configuring services.
• Google Workspace administration, groups, security policies, 2FA, and basic DLP.
• Practical proficiency with Terraform and Ansible; Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana; Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with MDM tools including Intune, Mosyle, Addigy, or Jamf; Azure and AWS IaaS, IAM/roles, networking, and basic cost management.
• GitLab administration, runners, and infrastructure CI/CD; Keycloak realms, clients, SSO through SAML/OIDC, AD/LDAP integration, and federation.
• 802.1X/RADIUS Wi-Fi authentication integrated with AD or Keycloak, plus advanced user proficiency with Slack and Jira.
• Experience with established incident and problem management processes and managing infrastructure changes from concept through production deployment.
• Ownership, prioritization under pressure, clear communication with non-specialists, proactive improvement, delegation, and developing others.
