Project Manager, Low Voltage Deployment (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, based in the United States, with approximately 30–40% travel for site kickoffs, critical milestones, and field oversight.

Base salary: $120,000–$180,000 USD per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.

What you will do

• Manage assigned low-voltage projects from scope confirmation and kickoff through execution, closeout, and turnover.
• Build and maintain schedules, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, budgets, forecasts, change orders, invoices, and risk and issue registers.
• Coordinate low-voltage contractors and integrators, including onboarding, mobilization, daily execution, bid leveling, performance, safety, workmanship, and documentation.
• Oversee structured cabling, copper and fiber systems, high-density fiber and MPO trunking, labeling, cable pathways, testing, certification, QA/QC, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and as-built documentation.
• Lead site kickoffs, walkdowns, coordination meetings, vendor updates, weekly reporting, and handoffs with Construction, Network Infrastructure, AI Infrastructure Deployment, Engineering, Commissioning, Supply Chain, and Procurement.
• Maintain accurate Jira and team trackers, capture lessons learned, and improve project templates, processes, and tooling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience, including 2+ years supporting or delivering data center, mission-critical, telecom, or low-voltage construction projects.
• Hands-on experience managing project schedules, budgets, change orders, subcontractor performance, and project closeout.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling and fiber systems, including installation, testing, and certification practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Experience with scheduling and project tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or Primavera P6, plus Jira or similar tracking tools.
• Comfort working on site and resolving problems with contractors and field teams.
• Ability to maintain accurate plans, budgets, and documentation, exercise judgment, escalate risks, and provide concise updates to field teams, engineers, vendors, and leadership.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, construction leads, vendors, and partner teams, with willingness to learn from senior project leaders and take on larger scopes.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale, cloud, HPC, or AI infrastructure deployments.
• BICSI certification, such as Installer, Technician, or RCDD, and familiarity with TIA-568 and TIA-942 standards.
• Experience working on projects across multiple sites or regions.
