Location: Onsite in Spring, Texas, United States

Base salary: USD 95,800–220,500 annual salary in Texas, United States; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Design engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
• Develop and implement test plans for validation of tolerances, form, fit, function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power.
• Lead electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners on moderately complex product projects.
• Collaborate with management and development partners on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Represent the electrical hardware team throughout larger and more complex development projects.
• Guide and mentor less-experienced staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 4–6 years of experience.
• Experience using electrical design tools and software packages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
• Experience using empirical analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies to validate component, circuit, and hardware designs, including thermal and emissions management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery of English and the local language; ability to communicate product architectures and design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
• Ability to work primarily from an HPE office in Spring, Texas.
