Hardware Engineer II

Location: Hauppauge, New York, United States. The role involves working with groups across Europe, Asia, and the United States and requires occasional travel of 0–25%.

Annual base salary: $70,304–$143,000 USD, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Develop complex test boards that connect production test equipment with integrated circuits in wafer and package form.
• Create schematics for complex PCB projects using approved component libraries and established procedures.
• Review PCB routing, component placement, dimensions, mechanical fixtures, stiffeners, and connectors against technical documentation.
• Coordinate PCB CAD engineering, mechanical engineering, suppliers, assembly teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead multiple development projects, organize design reviews, and approve schematics and project documentation.
• Define requirements, recommend probe-card technologies, and manage board design, manufacturing, delivery schedules, pricing, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or physical measurements.
• At least three years of experience in technical project management, electronic-board development, and routing tools.
• Knowledge of electronic components, hardware development processes, and technical project management.
• Strong CAD software skills, ideally with Altium.
• Good written, reading, and spoken English is required.
• Ability to work with groups located in different time zones, including Europe, Asia, and the United States.
