Marketing & Communications Intern

Location: Hybrid, Hartford, Connecticut, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. now and in the future.

Salary: $24.00–$26.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Write and edit copy for the company intranet, mass email, digital signage, and other internal or external communication channels.
• Develop feature stories and article series by researching topics and interviewing employees.
• Prepare editorial content for publication on the intranet using the TeamSite database.
• Collaborate on communications plans for company initiatives and projects.
• Support internal and external coverage and promotion of the hirify.global Championship.
• Collaborate with other interns on a directed group project and support communications projects and campaigns as needed.

Requirements

• Pursuing or having obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program focused on Communications, English, or Marketing.
• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong editorial skills.
• Intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Ability to think outside the box and stay current with digital trends.
• Basic project management and analytical skills.
