Associate Software Engineer (.NET)

Salary: $59,600.00–$101,200.00 per year; incentive eligible

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise applications, APIs, backend services, and cloud-based solutions.
• Design and enhance REST APIs, application integrations, and data-access components.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, product managers, quality engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support operational processes, incident management, monitoring, logging, reliability, and performance improvements.
• Contribute to unit, integration, and regression testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated deployments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and modernization initiatives.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of software engineering, software development, or application development experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming concepts and software development fundamentals.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow as a software engineer.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience with C#, .NET, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with web services, REST APIs, backend application development, relational databases, and SQL.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Academic, internship, open-source, or personal software development project experience.
• Understanding of software testing concepts and quality assurance practices.
• Interest in cloud-native development, microservices, integrations, and modern engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
