Software Engineer (AI)

Location: US - Denver, CO; at least 3 days per week in the office. The role requires 5–10% travel and is performed in an office setting.

Salary: $86,500–$134,400 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure web applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, and reusable platform components.
• Build developer enablement solutions, including CI/CD integrations, test automation, release automation, and engineering self-service capabilities.
• Develop AI-enabled solutions for code and test assistance, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, and agentic frameworks.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, debugging, production support, and continuous improvements to reliability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in software technologies, application development, platform engineering, or a related field.
• Experience developing web applications, backend services, RESTful APIs, or service integrations.
• Experience with enterprise-scale frontend, backend, web, or platform services, including development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Experience with Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar backend technologies.
• Familiarity with developer platforms, CI/CD, test frameworks, cloud services, databases, APIs, observability, and AI/LLM patterns such as RAG and agentic workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with prompt engineering, tool and API integration, evaluation, security controls, and human oversight for AI-enabled solutions.
