Engineering Program Manager II

Location: On-site at the San Jose, California facility, United States; international travel of up to 20% is required.

Salary: $99,000–$133,000 annually, plus bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Coordinate technical projects and program workstreams for the Advanced Packaging product line and strategic outsourcing initiatives.
• Translate objectives into schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and execution plans.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, optical, software, technician, operations, supply chain, quality, service, supplier, and external partner activities.
• Support design reviews, product release, BOM completion, work instructions, documentation, and manufacturing readiness.
• Track technical, schedule, resource, and supplier risks and coordinate mitigation actions.
• Prepare project updates covering progress, milestones, risks, scope changes, decisions, and next steps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, materials science, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of technical project management experience in engineering, product development, high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor, capital equipment, or a similarly complex technical environment.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams and delivering technical programs against schedule, scope, and business objectives.
• Working knowledge of product development, engineering release practices, BOMs, documentation, and manufacturing readiness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools; SAP or similar enterprise systems experience is valuable.
• Ability to work on-site at the San Jose facility and travel internationally up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, advanced packaging, or complex electromechanical product development.
• Experience with outsourcing, supplier-enabled development, or partner-based engineering programs.
• PMP or equivalent project/program management certification.
