Application Support Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Support and maintain Windows and Linux server processes and internally developed application services.
• Monitor and support a highly distributed production system.
• Assess, triage, and resolve technical issues affecting the production environment.
• Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to understand needs and develop practical solutions.
• Build AI-powered automation to reduce manual operational work and accelerate incident response.
• Identify and implement process optimization opportunities for business and technical users.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in operations, systems administration, or application support.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux and Windows environments and a solid understanding of multitiered systems.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash for task automation, tooling, and simplifying repetitive work.
• Working familiarity with Kafka, MariaDB, MongoDB, InfluxDB, and ELK sufficient to support and troubleshoot production environments.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a financial services or trading environment.
• BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical major.
