Principal Product Manager - Certifications PLM (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Juan, 00918; hybrid, with an average requirement to work 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the product security roadmap for networking products, aligning security investments with business objectives, customer needs, risks, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive security-by-design principles and Secure Development Lifecycle processes, including security gates, SAST, SCA, SBOM generation, code signing, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation.
• Lead security readiness reviews and coordinate Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Program Management, Compliance, Security, executive, and customer stakeholders.
• Establish ownership models, RACI structures, execution plans, metrics, compliance dashboards, and corrective actions for security initiatives.
• Assess product security risks, prioritize remediation, support vulnerability response and coordinated disclosure, and communicate security capabilities and compliance roadmaps to customers, partners, government stakeholders, sales, and federal programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product line management, cybersecurity, or compliance.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies, including routing, switching, security, and cloud networking.
• Working knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across engineering and product organizations.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Junos OS, networking platforms, or security appliances.
• Familiarity with NIST frameworks, Zero Trust architectures, SBOM requirements, Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF), and software supply chain security.
• CISSP, CISM, or related certifications.
