  • Build capabilities for publicly trusted certificates, ACME issuance, certificate lifecycle automation, renewal, revocation, Certificate Transparency, customer controls, and developer integrations.
  • Partner with engineering on certificate lifecycle systems, HSM integration, key protection, auditability, reliability, and automated recovery.
  • Work with compliance, legal, security, operations, sales, marketing, and WebPKI stakeholders on trust, incident response, audits, and ecosystem requirements.
  • Own packaging, pricing, customer segmentation, launch sequencing, competitive positioning, sales enablement, messaging, and adoption metrics.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience building technical products for developers, security teams, infrastructure teams, enterprises, or cloud platforms.
  • Experience with security, identity, infrastructure, or developer platform products where correctness, reliability, compliance, and trust are core requirements.
  • Working knowledge of PKI and certificate lifecycle management, including TLS, X.509, ACME, public and private CAs, revocation, Certificate Transparency, mTLS, and HSMs.
  • Experience with product strategy, pricing and packaging, customer segmentation, go-to-market planning, and technical B2B products.
  • Technical fluency in APIs, distributed systems, key management, audit trails, reliability, operational failure modes, and security tradeoffs.
  • Strong written communication and judgment for high-consequence, ecosystem-visible infrastructure decisions.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with CA/Browser Forum requirements, browser root programs, WebTrust, public CA incident reporting, or WebPKI and IETF communities.
  • Experience with API-first developer products, ACME, SDKs, CLI workflows, Kubernetes, service mesh, mTLS, or infrastructure-as-code integrations.
  • Experience launching zero-to-one products or businesses inside a larger platform company.
  • Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography, crypto-agility, Merkle Tree Certificates, or shorter certificate lifetimes.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hybrid work arrangement in Austin or London.
  • Medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, commuter, fertility, family-forming, and mental health benefits.
  • Disability, life and accident insurance, 401(k), and employee stock participation plan for eligible employees in the United States.
  • Flexible paid time off and leave programs, including parental, pregnancy health, medical, and bereavement leave.
