Remote Digital Producer / Digital Project Manager

Location: 100% remote; qualified applicants are welcome from around the world. Required working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Salary: $17–$35 per hour for candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado. Compensation may fall outside this range for candidates elsewhere.

What you will do

• Manage ongoing SEO, web design, web development, and digital marketing client accounts.
• Define and review project scopes, cost estimates, financial and resource requirements, risks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Lead client meetings, kickoff calls, specialty calls, and internal strategy meetings.
• Act as the strategic and creative liaison between clients and internal teams, communicating objectives, requirements, timelines, and success criteria.
• Review deliverables for completeness and accuracy, maintain project management systems and client records, and close out projects.
• Identify account growth opportunities and recommend website design, SEO, PPC, and online marketing improvements.

Requirements

• Knowledge sufficient to pass a skills test in either web development or online marketing, including SEO or PPC.
• Strong project, account, or client management experience across multiple clients.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills and experience presenting professional materials in on-camera client meetings.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, influencing, facilitation, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills, with a confident speaking presence and authoritative communication style.
• Understanding of project management methodology, including issue resolution, risk management, work planning, resource allocation, meeting management, and project specifications.
• Familiarity with Basecamp, Jira, Asana, HubSpot, or similar project management platforms; ability to manage multiple projects while remaining organized and detail-oriented.
• Understanding of web design standards, usability, rich media, and digital production workflows; familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
• Passion for building and growing in a startup-style environment, plus a reliable remote workstation with a fast computer, microphone, speakers, internet, and power.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or PHP.
• Experience with photo and video editing software.
• Experience with SEO, Google Ads, PPC, and online marketing strategy.
• Experience upselling or recommending additional digital services to clients.
• Experience working with designers, developers, SEO specialists, and digital marketing teams.
