Embedded Software Senior Engineer (AI)

Location: Irving, Texas; onsite five days per week. Relocation assistance is available. Travel is 10%. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux software for AI-accelerated CPU, GPU, and SoC platforms.
• Develop high-performance C++ components for embedded and real-time systems.
• Integrate and optimize AI applications and inference pipelines using CUDA, TensorRT, DeepStream, and JetPack, including model deployment and acceleration.
• Integrate and optimize LLM-related workloads at the edge while analyzing system constraints.
• Debug hardware, Linux kernel, driver, middleware, and application issues; perform root-cause analysis of performance, stability, and functional problems.
• Build validation and verification strategies, support hardware bring-up and BSP integration, contribute to architecture and technical reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Understanding of software development tools and activities, with the ability to produce software products or systems according to product requirements.
• Knowledge of teamwork and the ability to work cooperatively toward shared goals while supporting colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to achieve planned outcomes by using assigned and cross-team resources despite changing circumstances.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in platform architecture, edge computing, and embedded systems with proven strategic leadership.
• Expertise in edge AI frameworks, hardware acceleration, real-time systems, and edge security.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Experience supporting vision applications, autonomous vehicles, cybersecurity, hypervisors or virtualization, software-defined machines or vehicles, Linux Yocto, and QNX.
