Embedded Software Engineer, Platform (AI Hardware)

What you will do

• Design, configure, maintain, and optimize OS platform services running on AI hardware.
• Build system services, daemons, frameworks, networking primitives, and communication protocols.
• Own backend integrations, including protocol design and performance analysis.
• Develop virtualization frameworks and multi-OS system designs.
• Profile and tune platform performance and power consumption across multi-core systems.
• Collaborate with BSP, embedded software, UX, backend, and AI teams to integrate platform and device software.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional embedded software development experience on shipping hardware products.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture and operating system fundamentals.
• Experience building OS services, frameworks, and platform software for embedded systems.
• Experience with Unix, BSD Linux, VxWorks, QNX, or another modern operating system.
• Experience with performance and power optimization, multi-core SoCs, IoT frameworks such as MQTT, RabbitMQ, or CoAP, and embedded toolchains or cross-compilation.

Nice to have

• Networking and connectivity experience, including wireless stacks.
• Experience with constrained system architectures, MCUs, hardware accelerators, or inference runtimes such as ONNX and TensorFlow.
• Experience with agentic frameworks or Linux kernel and kernel-adjacent platform development.
• DSP audio or camera ISP development experience.
