VPII, Enterprise AI Portfolio Strategy Leader (AI)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; other locations include Fort Mill/Charlotte and New York.

Base salary: $178,293–$297,155 annually.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the firm’s multi-year enterprise AI strategy in partnership with enterprise strategy, product, and technology leaders.
• Translate strategic direction into product and technology roadmaps, prioritization decisions, funding plans, and resourcing choices.
• Lead environmental scanning and competitive intelligence, turning industry and competitor developments into build-versus-buy, pricing, monetization, and deployment-model decisions.
• Serve as portfolio lead for the enterprise AI program, maintaining visibility into status, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
• Resolve cross-functional blockers and align business, product, technology, risk, and legal stakeholders.
• Engage risk and legal as design partners early and report strategic, regulatory, vendor, platform, and execution risks to leadership.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience owning AI strategy from a business seat and translating it into funding and prioritization decisions executed by product and technology organizations.
• Track record of gaining alignment across business, product, technology, risk, and legal stakeholders who were initially misaligned.
• Fluency in the commercial and competitive dimensions of AI, including build-versus-buy tradeoffs, pricing and monetization models, and operating models for deploying AI at scale.
• Experience running environmental scanning and competitive intelligence as decision-making inputs that changed business decisions.
• Direct experience leading cross-functional, multi-stakeholder programs or initiatives as the accountable owner.
• Ability to combine strategic agility with operational excellence and move quickly across multiple workstreams without sequential handoffs.
• Firsthand industry exposure to how AI is built, bought, priced, and deployed.
• BA/BS degree required.
