Privacy Specialist (Risk and Compliance)

Location: Hybrid in Madison, Wisconsin; Chicago, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; or New York City, New York, United States. Office attendance is required 2–3 days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $64,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Coordinate compliance and governance activities related to privacy matters.
• Assist in designing and managing reporting, investigation, and monitoring processes for privacy breaches.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of hirify.global policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identify non-compliant issues and anomalies, escalating them when necessary.
• Provide privacy strategies and guidance, share information confidentially, and educate teams on privacy and contractual compliance.
• Liaise with compliance experts and provide feedback on trends and actions to improve compliance.

Requirements

• Tertiary degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or insurance.
• Experience in risk and compliance.
• Knowledge of privacy matters and local regulations.
• Experience assessing privacy issues.
