Contracts Specialist

Location: Remote; based in or associated with Philadelphia, PA / Washington, DC

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of global client contracts in partnership with Account Teams and the Legal Department.
• Draft, evaluate, revise, and coordinate Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Vendor Agreements, and Change Orders.
• Coordinate internal reviews with Business Development, Practices, Finance, Legal, Compliance, InfoSec, and other stakeholders.
• Identify contractual risks, support mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with legal requirements, company standards, best practices, and brand guidelines.
• Maintain contract repositories, update templates, perform formatting and quality-control checks, and communicate contract status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support implementation and adoption of the AI-enabled legal tool, integrate it into contracting workflows, and guide stakeholders through process changes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in proposal creation or contract development within consulting or life sciences sectors.
• Experience handling a high volume of contracts efficiently and evaluating business terms for inclusion in contracts.
• Experience enhancing business processes and maintaining positive, solutions-oriented relationships with colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid understanding of documentation control processes, including diligence reviews.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools in legal, contracting, or related business processes, or a strong interest in developing practical AI skills.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for change, including the ability to learn new technology and help others navigate transformed workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to have

• Desktop publishing experience.
• Familiarity with international workplaces, particularly UK and EU environments.
• Salesforce expertise.
