Software Development Engineer - Intern (AI)

Location: Seattle, Washington; 2027 internships are based in Seattle and follow a hybrid schedule, generally working in person Tuesday through Thursday. Interns must live within reasonable commuting distance of the designated office. Remote employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

Base pay: $104,000–$166,000 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC; actual pay varies by experience, performance, and location.

What you will do

• Contribute to real projects that support hirify.global's real estate products and business.
• Work on real software problems and ship code.
• Partner with product-focused developers and teammates across multiple functional areas.
• Own and tackle sophisticated software problems.
• Work across all levels of the software stack.
• Use AI tools to build software and evaluate and refine AI-generated output.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong coding knowledge in Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Ability and interest to work across all levels of the software stack.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to build software, with judgment to evaluate and refine AI-generated output.
