Senior Ruby on Rails Engineers

What you will do

• Design, build, and scale distributed backend systems supporting financial and mission-critical workloads.
• Develop and maintain clean, secure, reliable, and maintainable Ruby code.
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL, applying data modeling, transactional consistency, and high-throughput architecture principles.
• Use NoSQL and caching solutions to improve performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, and Platform teams on business-driven solutions.
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with the ability to build and scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, transaction management, and system performance optimization.
• Strong hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and caching technologies.
• Excellent Ruby coding skills and adherence to best practices for clarity, maintainability, and security.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including cross-functional work across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Exposure to monitoring, observability, and DevOps tools.
