Global Rewards Partner - Benefits

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands; onsite role.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the global benefits offering, governance framework, and lifecycle across pensions, retirement, health, medical, insurance, mobility, wellbeing, family, leave, meal voucher, recognition, and local benefit programs.
• Lead benefits reviews, market benchmarking, renewals, provider selection, tenders, and vendor performance management.
• Manage global relationships with brokers, insurers, benefits providers, Procurement, and Legal, including contract negotiations and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with global and local legislation, monitor regulatory developments, and support audits, governance reviews, and risk assessments.
• Develop employee communications and education for benefits, pensions, retirement planning, and financial wellbeing.
• Improve benefits administration through scalable operating models, automation, data quality, reporting, and Workday governance and configuration.

Requirements

• Significant experience in global benefits, compensation and benefits, or total rewards within an international or multinational environment.
• Deep expertise in benefits design, governance, pensions, insurance, and employee wellbeing programs.
• Experience managing global vendors, brokers, and external partners.
• Experience leading complex benefits projects, transformations, and change initiatives.
• Strong understanding of benefits compliance and governance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong operational execution capabilities, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using HR systems, data analytics, reporting tools, and market insights to support recommendations.
• Ability to balance global consistency with local market requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global technology or software organization.
• Experience with Workday Benefits or other global HRIS platforms.
• Knowledge of global benefits design, harmonization, and governance frameworks.
• Experience leading vendor tenders, RFPs, and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of pension reform and benefits legislation across multiple countries.
• Experience driving automation, digital transformation, and AI-enabled process improvements in Rewards or HR.
• Professional certification in Compensation and Benefits, Global Rewards, or a related discipline, such as WorldatWork, CEBS, or GRP.
