Senior Infrastructure Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $98,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Own first response and end-to-end resolution for issues across Kubernetes clusters, GitLab CI runners, virtual machines, standalone systems, and product demo environments.
• Diagnose incidents across operating systems, cloud resources, conventional servers, AI accelerator hardware, and networking layers.
• Coordinate with IT and product software teams when incidents originate outside the infrastructure group.
• Turn recurring issues into automation, monitoring improvements, alerts, and operational runbooks.
• Perform upgrades, patching, certificate renewals, capacity checks, and other infrastructure operations.
• Participate in on-call coverage and contribute to infrastructure design and build work.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating production Linux systems, including hands-on Kubernetes troubleshooting.
• Methodical debugging skills across multiple infrastructure layers.
• Experience scripting with Python and/or Bash.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems, preferably GitLab.
• Working knowledge of DNS, routing, load balancing, TLS, monitoring, and observability.
• Clear communication during incidents and willingness to learn unfamiliar inference systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU or accelerator nodes in Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience with DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Bare-metal or on-premises infrastructure experience.
• CKA or CKAD certification.
