Associate Director, Software Engineering (ServiceNow)

Location: Hybrid, based in West Point, Pennsylvania, United States; additional location in Rahway, New Jersey, United States.

Salary: $142,400–$224,100 annual base salary for the primary location; eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive where applicable.

What you will do

• Define and drive testing roadmaps and QA standards across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC, and HRSD.
• Create test plans and coordinate unit, system integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Validate configurations, customizations, integrations, upgrades, patches, and production releases.
• Build and scale automated test suites using AutomatePro AutoTesting and, where applicable, ServiceNow Automated Test Framework.
• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, data validation, CMDB integrity checks, and data transformations for migrations.
• Establish quality KPIs, support test execution, and mentor testing engineers across agile squads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or another technology field.
• 12+ years of experience creating, executing, and managing testing efforts.
• Automated Test Framework experience.
• Understanding of the ServiceNow platform and testing strategies, including developed and out-of-the-box code.
• Experience with application integrations, software configurations, software development life cycle, system integration, solution architecture, and platform development or management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Agile methodology, Scrum development, iterative development, and agile tools experience.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of AutomatePro.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and IT Service Management best practices.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with data engineering, data visualization, maturity models, process maturity, business informatics, knowledge sharing, platform design, and system designs.
