Staff Product Manager - Enterprise AI Platform

Location: Onsite at an hirify.global location in Illinois, United States; this is not a remote role.

Base pay: $129,300.00–$258,700.00 per year; the pay range may vary by specific location.

What you will do

• Own the product roadmap for the enterprise AI platform control plane and paved-road services, including registry, orchestration, evaluation, observability, cost governance, and guardrails.
• Gather and prioritize requirements from internal consuming teams while balancing competing requests and roadmap capacity.
• Define self-service tooling, templates, and standards for building, deploying, and operating AI/ML and agentic systems.
• Maintain the platform backlog, write and prioritize requirements, and represent consuming teams in engineering planning.
• Define and track adoption, satisfaction, and time-to-onboard metrics to guide the roadmap.
• Partner with the Platform Engineering Lead, Platform/Solutions Architect, and Strategy & Portfolio stakeholders to sequence platform investment.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of product management experience, including managing platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
• Hands-on product management experience for a platform or infrastructure product consumed by engineering teams, such as an internal developer platform, API platform, data platform, or MLOps platform.
• Product management experience for an AI/ML platform, including feature stores, model registries, agent-orchestration frameworks, or evaluation and observability tooling.
• Strong technical depth in model and agent registries, Model/MCP Gateway, orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and control-plane governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills across multiple internal consuming teams with competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience as a product manager for an AI/ML platform, including feature stores, model registries, agent-orchestration frameworks, or evaluation and observability tooling.
• Experience building or scaling a paved-road or internal developer platform practice.
• Experience in a highly regulated enterprise where platform governance, auditability, and control-plane requirements are first-order design constraints.
