What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for the core enterprise platform, prioritizing developer experience, customer capabilities, field-developed work, commitments, and dependencies.
• Define product requirements, user journeys, prototypes, and success measures covering customer outcomes, adoption, delivery time, and production performance.
• Align platform engineering, forward deployed product managers, and business leaders on shared capabilities, rollout priorities, environmental differences, and delivery ownership.
• Build and lead the product management team by establishing ownership, hiring and coaching PMs, and improving product thinking and written requirements.
• Stay directly involved in consequential product decisions and follow through on gaps after launch.

Requirements

• Track record of owning platform, infrastructure, or developer products from problem definition through launch and sustained production use.
• Experience managing and developing product managers, setting direction across multiple related product areas, and remaining hands-on with important product decisions.
• Strong product judgment, including explaining problem selection, rejected options, sequencing decisions, and resulting user impact.
• Technical depth in APIs, runtime behavior, identity and authorization, deployment, observability, and data isolation, with the ability to reason through architectural tradeoffs and consequences for users, security, and operations.
• Experience driving adoption across teams with different needs and constraints, reaching decisions, establishing ownership, and following through across reporting lines.
• Clear and precise writing and communication, including translating ambiguous problems into actionable requirements and explaining priorities and tradeoffs to customers and executives.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI platforms, including agent runtimes, workflow orchestration, evaluation, datasets, human review, or production AI observability.
• Experience building products for regulated industries or deploying into on-premises, air-gapped, or classified environments.
• Experience turning capabilities developed for individual customers into reusable platform products.
