Vice President, Structured Finance - Energy

Location: United States of America; ability to work remotely and independently; travel within the assigned territory as required.

Base pay range: $275,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Execute the origination, structuring, and distribution of syndicated bank loans for clients.
• Lead deal teams and oversee transaction due diligence and underwriting for potential transactions.
• Develop relationships with senior executives at existing clients and targeted prospects to support revenue generation and risk-adjusted returns.
• Develop relationships with participating lenders to ensure market demand for syndicated loans.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and bankers on business development and joint-calling activities.
• Oversee junior-level staff from financial, operational, competitive, and industry perspectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
• 9+ years of business development, product specialist management, or related experience.
• Demonstrated successful execution of syndicated loan transactions.
• Ability to set, drive, and lead a team toward pipeline growth and successful execution.
• Very strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including expert presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong relationship management, negotiation, organization, detail orientation, analytical, problem-solving, and complex contract negotiation or creation skills.
• Ability to influence and drive complex initiatives, manage logistics with internal stakeholders, motivate others, translate data into information, and perform financial calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Sales-oriented, energetic, self-motivated, and able to demonstrate strong initiative toward achieving sales goals.
• Ability to analyze and understand leading technologies and companies.
